What happens when you book us?

When you make a booking with Charm Wedding Studio LTD by paying a deposit, we will need you to provide us with some personal data. This will be your name, address, email address and telephone number. This information will be hand written onto a booking and you will receive a carbon copy of this form. If we take your details over the phone we will retain the carbon copy which we can give to you on request.

Why do we need your details?

We require your name for the purpose of knowing who the booking is for, who is paying for our services and who is also responsible for the hire of our goods. We require your address in case at any time we need to post you a receipt, a sample or in the unlikely event that we need to send you an invoice for any missing hire items or damages incurred to our hire items. We require your email address as this is the most likely way we will contact you from time of booking until your wedding or event regarding wedding or event details such as final requirements for invoice purposes. A telephone number is also taken should we require to contact you promptly regarding your wedding or event booking.

What do we do with your information?

The personal information you give us is not shared with any third parties. We do not pass on or sell any of your personal information. Your personal information is kept in paper form and securely in our possession. Once your wedding or event has passed and we have completed work for you, we will continue to store your booking form securely and will only refer to it at your request or if we require information about the items you booked for a future client. This would only be information relating to the hire items and would not be your personal information. Only the company directors of Charm Wedding Studio LTD have access to the booking forms of past and present clients.

When would we share your information?

If you book any items or services through Charm Wedding Studio ltd which we need to sub-contract out to another company, the only information shared with the other company will be your names and wedding date and location or any other information relevant to your setup e.g. start time / end time / special requests. No other personal inforation will be passed on.

What do we do with your information after your booking?

After your wedding or event we may contact you if the items you have hired are damaged or have gone missing as you are liable for these having signed a booking form as in our terms and conditions. Other reasons we might contact you would be to request feedback on our services or to ask you to vote for us in upcoming awards. Any feedback given to us on our services may be used on our website along with your first name and event photo.
